Overnight Snowshoe Tour Mount Seymour I - New Years Eve - 31.12.2006-1.1.2007

Dimitri from Germany, Mwemba from Zambia and me went on a overnight snowshoe tour this weekend.

Mwemba´s first real experience with snow

half way up Mount Seymour it was lunch time

after lunch we left the official snowshoe trail and went into the real backcountry and into the untouched awesome powder snow. Although we had snowshoes it was quite a challenge to walk up steep slopes in deep powder with our heavy backpacks.

Once we made it up these steep slopes we stopped to enjoy the view over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
