Vancouver BMO Marathon - 6.5.2007

Vancouver Marathon...if you would have asked me 3 months ago if I would like to run it, I would have told you everything except yes....but after lots of running and training with Lan I said yes to it.

yeah and today was the day...Dimitri also run it with us.

and then the start at 7:30 am....

42km and 3 hours and 44 minutes later Dimitri and I reached the finish line

Lan finished the marathon in 4 hours 16 minutes

we were just happy that we did it! if you need a challenge then go for it!! It´s worth it.

It is on the way to Peter Lougheed Provincial Park in Kananaskis country. I don't think you drove to Kananaskis. It is not on the way to Banff. U have to drive another 30 mins from TransCanada Highway.

And yeah....cus we ivepers r special people. hahahah...

What can I say. It was probably one of the toughest run that I have ever done. I've done several marathons before but never before did I remember my legs if you stopped for a second, the arch of your foot in burning pain in the last 30 km. I remeber even the slightest incline was painful! It was worth it though! The good feeling will last so much longer.
Thanks Manny for being so dedicated to coming out with me all those weeks. I hope you are now hooked on running.
