Catching up... - 13.2.2008

I´m back on my feet, two weeks ago they took off my cast and so I was desperate to get out there and see Austria, or at least Carinthia, the province where I live in.
First I wanted to check out the old Castle of Landskron.

It´s on top of a hill for protection against enemie...high walls,

old arch bridge over the castle lake which is dried out during the winter months

The I drove to the lake of Ossiach which is close by

took some pictures

and the drove to lake of Faak.


Both lakes are sourounded by mountains, here in the back you can see the "Mittagskogel"
