Asia Trip - 2.-7.6.2008
I had a few hours in Busan before taking a boat across the Japanese Sea to Japan. The time in Busan I used to check out the big market area, a park on a hill and the harbour area.
Next morning the boat arrived in Fukuoka, Japan. From here I took a damn expensive Shinkansen train to Hiroshima, there I dropped my bag at the hostel and then did some sightseeing of the A-bomb sites and the museum. In the picture you can see one of the few buildings that didn´t get wiped out by the bomb that was dropped by the Americans in world war II...
Today the tram and a short boat ride brought me to Miyajima island, with a famous water shrine gate which you can see in the picture. There were also a bunch of nice temples and some good hiking on this small island.
Welcome to Tokyo, the biggest city in the world with 30 million people...
the mayor building with a free elevator to the top
the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world
I also had the chance to meet my friend Yoshi, he lives in Tokyo and we a great time during my stay in Tokyo
we went to that little bar in one of these back alleys...
