Portland Roadtrip 10.-14.5.2007 - Day 1
Another roadtrip....the last one was already way too long ago...so I took the chane to go with another MCC Volunteer from Calgary down to Portland, Oregon in the US.
We rented a car here in Vancouver and started driving down to the US on Thursday morning.
At the Us border we had to wait for 40 minutes in traffic line up until they let us in...
once we were in the US nothing could keep us back to go to Seattle and check out the city and it´s people. Here you can see my travel partner Mandy from Thailand, she currently volunteers in Calgary, Alberta.

in the late afternoon we went back to the highway and headed southwest towards the Washington coast.

Actually we were stucked at the border for an hour!
Y'know what, I looked closer at your date format of your blog headline...There is no "month", just only dates and year....
I have similar pictures that you posted it!
If I go there next time, I would visit baseball stadium becuase I'd love to watch it! *^^*
