West Coast Trail - 21.-27.7.2007 Day 5

Day 5 started with lots of fog

today was our longest day at least what we had to walk in distance, 16km were ahead of us
along the beach, over huge boulders, sandstone...

..along cliffs, thorugh the forest

through native reserves with some of the oldest villages on the west coast (Whyac and Cl-oose)

Nitinat Narrows we had to cross by boat, they´re impassable by foot because of deep water and strong currents


the famous "Whole in the wall"





and finally we arrived at our campsite, which was our favourite one!

here we had a waterfall with fresh warm water, ideal for a shower and water massage

and on the other side we had the pacific, sunset, yeah and sure thing lots of wood for a nice campfire...all what a backpacker needs to feel happy
