Japanese evening - 28.11.2008


My friend Chimie from Japan invited me over to her place for a "Japanese evening".
We had Matcha Tea, Kinkan which is a fruit, Surume which is dried squid, Sake and Green Tea.

It is so good to have friends from all over the world, so I don´t get bored with only german food...

Snowshoeing Grouse Mountain - 23.11.2006


I hiked up Grouse Mountain so I didn´t have to pay for the lift, the snow started around 3/4 of the way

it snowed like crazy the whole day and it was windy...

one of the bears on Grouse Mountain, behind a fence though...

as soon as there was enough snow I used Snowshoes

"Sightseeing" in Abbotsford - 19.11.2006


after the "Hobbit" show I went to Benedict and Dimitri´s place, they also live in Abbotsford, I used the chance to get together with them once I was out there anyways.
They showed me Abbotsford and all it´s "interesting" places.... ;-)

Mongolian Restaurant with Benedict and Dimitri - 11.11.2006

They both stayed at my place from friday to saturday, we went out on friday night and saturday we went to my favourite mongolian restaurant...we had a good time and I look forward to do more things with these guys! They´re both volunteers like me too but they work in Abbotsford, which is another small city close to vancouver.
