Munich - 26.-28.3.2008

The Olympia stadium from 1976 when they had the Olympic Summer games in Munich

They got some pretty nice cars in the BMW World

Munich´s most famous place is the Hofbräuhaus, beer tradtion is alive here since the 15 th century...and it´s booming more than ever!

and that´s why, 1 litre beer mugs with probably one of the best beer in the world!
Inga from Lithuania and Seibin from South Korea came with me, Wataru from Japan was taking the picture.

Day 2 I used to check out the Old town of Munich

Ratskeller, part of the mayor hall

The Bavarian Parlament

Some freaks were surfing on one wave at the river that flows through the English Garden

a cool spot for watching the city is the TV tower, after that we went out for some good food and lots of beer...

Day 3, after a huge free breakfats at the hostel Inga and I went to the Olympia Park again to check out the BMW World, the sun was shining and so we enjoyed some coffee at the park and went for a little walk.

Quick lunch in the Old Town and then I had to rush to get my train back home to Sigmarinen where my parents live...

A day in Salzburg - 14.3.2008

The main purpose for me to go to Salzburg was the application for a visa at the Russian Embassy. Well the rest oft the day I used to see this great city which is also the birthplace of Mozart.

Tons of churches, old houses, museums and tiny narrow streets sourounded by some mountains

A church from inside, pretty amazing what they built centuries ago all by hand...

a place for prayer in one of these churches, I think it was a catholic church where they often pray to some holy persons from which they have a picture or even some remaining bones.

and the castle which is high above the city on a hill
