This year was my first christmas back at home since I left Germany in 2005.
My mum wanted to surprise us and got the key for a little hut in the forest.

so we celebrated out there in the forest. another family joined us for that event.

Beer Test - 14.11.2008

One of the good sides of beeing a student are the parties which you get to enjoy...well and one of them was our beer test party. The idea was simple, drink beer, write down how you like it and give points according to taste and some other things which we thought are important.

before we drank the beer we read the label on the back of the bottle



we even had the mother of all beer glasses with us!

Blautopf - 26.10.2008

Sorry guys for not updating my blog for such a long time...but I haven´t been taking that many pictures in the last few months and some of them I already uploaded to facebook...well anyways a blog is still the best way for me to keep you updated on my life...yes now it´s a student life.

In the first few weeks of fall we had awesome weather here in Germany. So I a sunday afternoon to check out the area outside of Ulm, where I live at the moment. Just a short train ride away is the Blautopf, a fountain with very clear water...

this is just a small part of it, there is a huge tunnel system below the surface. the funny thing is I´ve learned that in elementary school...
